Craig Wayne Boyd is a celebrated country artist who captured America’s heart as the winner of season 7 of The Voice. Representing Team Blake, Boyd’s powerful performances, soulful voice, and authentic charm catapulted him to fame. His breakout single, “My Baby’s Got a Smile on Her Face,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart—a rare feat that solidified his place in country music history.
Born and raised in Mesquite, Texas, Boyd grew up with a deep connection to music, particularly country and southern rock. He honed his craft over the years, performing in bars, songwriting, and working tirelessly to make his mark in the music industry. Following his success on The Voice, Boyd has been honored to play the Grand Ole Opry 25+ times, he has shared the stage with Charlie Daniels, Travis Tritt, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Marshall Tucker Band, Kelsea Ballerini, Blake Shelton etc. and continues touring the world sharing country music.
Beyond his music, Craig Wayne Boyd is a devoted family man. He is married to Taylor Boyd, and together they share five musical kids. The family has taken on the band name BoydsRUs and recently released their first single “Halloween Song”. Music is in their bones, and they are excited to create more in the future!
